"So, why should I choose an AAAA agency?"
Excellent question. Election to the American Association of Advertising Agencies is the highest professional recognition in our business. Two out of three agencies who apply are turned down. Our home town Chicago telephone directory, for example, lists 926 "advertising agencies and counselors." (Imagine that.) Only 83, however, are genuine AAAA members. That proportion holds true nationally, also. Fewer than 1 in 10 "agencies" earn membership.
It's a big fat seal of approval. You can't buy AAAA membership. An agency must survive a close examination of business practices, financial integrity, ethical conduct and reputation. (Despite all that, we got in.) ;–)
Hunting for an agency? Limit your shopping list to AAAA shops. (You should also read our white paper on agency selection.) Bypassing inexperienced, insolvent, or infamous shops won't make your decision for you, but AAAA "prescreening" makes your search 90% easier. Instead of a dice roll, you can confidently choose among reputable professional firms, each with the resources to get the job done. Like, well, gee, us.
